2, check before operation

3. Regularly check the mechanical oil

Basically, the current sewage pumps have been filled with mechanical oil before they leave the factory, which can ensure the lubrication and sealing effect. Therefore, when using the sewage pump, it should be checked once a year. If there is an emulsified lubricant, or there is some precipitation, then it must be replaced in time. Moreover, the mechanical oil should be replaced according to the equipment used, and the model should not be used wrong, so as not to affect the subsequent applications.

4, the problem of packing in the use of sewage pump

The shaft seal of the sewage pump generally uses oil-impregnated asbestos packing or oil-impregnated cotton yarn packing. Oil-impregnated asbestos packing has the advantages of heat resistance, good flexibility, and high strength, but it also has fatal disadvantages: the surface is rough after braiding, the coefficient of friction is large, there is leakage, and the lubricant immersed in it is easy to lose after long use. Oil-soaked cotton yarn packing will become very hard after long-term soaking in water, and because of the large expansion coefficient, the friction force is relatively large.

In actual production, there is often such a situation: the newly repaired equipment, the shaft seal is in good condition when it starts to operate, but after a short time, the leakage will continue to increase, and the work of adjusting the gland and replacing the packing is also gradually frequent, and it does not operate. In one cycle, the shaft sleeve has been worn into a vase-like shape. In severe cases, the shaft sleeve will wear out, and the packing behind the water seal ring that cannot be replaced is rotted and cannot play a sealing role.
